Transportation
Public transportation is available, but you’ll need a car. Votran, the public transit
system, has instituted a free beach tram operating on a section of beach where vehicles
are not permitted. Vehicles can drive on the beach at other marked locations during
daylight hours.
In-Season Costs
February through August are the most expensive months in Daytona. Hotels range from $70 to
$200 per night in most areas.
