Best Time to Go
As a beach destination Naples has her share of summer visitors. Travelers who come during
the shoulder season months of May and October will find reduced crowds, warm Gulf water,
and low rainfall.
Average Weather
Even in December, January, and February daily highs are in the seventies; the winter
months are generally dry. With a temperature range between 91 and 72, September is the
rainiest month, averaging over nine inches of rainfall. August isn't far behind with an
average rainfall of over eight inches.

Naples Trolley is the best way to tour the town, with on board guides and off-on tickets,
call (941) 262-7300 for information. Most visitors to this Florida city tend to prefer
having their own car though.
In-Season Costs
Golf packages in season can be pricey in the two hundred and fifty dollar range for at a
moderately priced hotel. Naples has many tempting restaurants in the twenty to thirty
dollar range. If you are planning to golf, or visit during the golfing season research
specials well in advance.
Day Trips
Everglades City and other destinations within the Everglades are easily accessible from
Naples. Wooten's Alligator Exhibit and animal sanctuary is 35 miles from Naples. Contact
