Taxis and Shuttles are available from outside the airport. A taxi will cost you aproximately S25 - S30 for a one way trip. A shuttle will cost aproximately S12 for the 1st person and an extra S4 for every other person. From the airport, proceed towards the city on Stewart Duff Drive and then onto Calabar Road. Turn left on Cobham Drive and proceed towards the city. Go through the Mt Victoria Tunnel and follow the road around the Basin Reserve. Follow Cambridge Terracethrough 3 sets of traffic lights until the road turns left onto Wakefield St. Follow the road around until it merges into Jervois Quay. After 4 sets of lights turn left down Brandon St and then left onto Featherston St. The Ibis is on the left.
Travel in a northerly direction along The Parade, into Adelaide Rd. At Basin Reserve turn left and follow road to right, taking Cambridge Tce exit. Follow to end and turn left into Wakefield St. At 3rd set of lights go straight into Jervois Quay. Take 4th turn on left into Brandon St and then first left into Brandon St.
Travel in a westerly direction on Dundas St, go left into Ferry St and through tunnel, continue until the airport. Turn right into Calabar Rd and left into Cobham Dr. Follow till 2nd set of lights. Go straight into Wellington Rd and right on Ruahine St and through tunnel. At Basin Reserve turn left and follow road to your right, taking the Cambridge Tce exit. Then left into Wakefield St. At third set of lights go straight into Jervois Quay. Take 4th left into Brandon St and 1st left into Featherston St.
Hotel Ibis Wellington does not have any onsite parking, however there is a number of car parking buildings that offer off street parking, and are very close to the hotel. Please enquire at reception for the different options. Daily parking costs aproximately between S16 and S30 depending on when and where you wish to park.
Travelling in an easterly direction on Karori Rd. Turn right into Chaytor St and through tunnel, then right into Glenmore St. Travel past Botanic Gardens and turn right at lights into Bowen St. At 4th set of lights turn right into Featherston St.
Travelling in a southerly direction on State Highway 1 past Porirua, Johnsonville and Tawa. Take the overpass to Wellington. Take the Aotea Quay turn off on your left. At 2nd set of lights turn right into Whitmore St, and then 1st left into Featherston St
